Michael Gilman Joins KBS

KBS is pleased to announce that Michael Gilman has joined the firm as counsel. Mike brings to KBS his more than two decades of experience in the procurement, enforcement and defense of patent, trademark and copyright rights, as well as in licensing and counseling in intellectual property matters. Mike has been lead counsel in countless trademark, copyright and patent disputes for his clients, including oppositions and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the US Patent and Trademark Office, and in federal and state courts throughout the country.

Mike recently prevailed, just days after joining KBS, in defeating a motion to dismiss filed against his client in a copyright infringement action pending in New York federal court.
